THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND
NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A CLIPPER SYSTEM WILL IMPACT THE NORTHLAND TONIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY.
SNOWFALL TONIGHT WILL VARY FROM A HALF INCH TO 1.5 INCHES ACROSS
NORTHEAST MINNESOTA WITH LITTLE OCCURRING OVER NORTHWEST WISCONSIN.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE THROUGH THE NORTHLAND WEDNESDAY AND
ALONG THE SOUTH SHORE OF LAKE SUPERIOR INTO THURSDAY. SNOWFALL ON
WEDNESDAY WILL RANGE FROM 1 TO 4 INCHES. THE HIGHER AMOUNTS WILL
OCCUR ALONG MUCH OF THE SOUTH SHORE OF LAKE SUPERIOR...AND COULD
POSSIBLY MAKE IT AS FAR WEST AS THE TWIN PORTS. SOME LOCALLY
HIGHER AMOUNTS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE DEPENDING ON HOW LONG THE WINDS
REMAIN EAST TO NORTHEAST.

WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME NORTHERLY WEDNESDAY NIGHT RESULTING
IN ADDITIONAL LAKE EFFECT SNOWFALL ALONG THE SOUTH SHORE INTO THURSDAY.
STAY TUNED TO LATER FORECASTS AS ADVISORIES OR EVEN A WARNING MAY
BE NEEDED FROM THE TWIN PORTS EAST ALONG THE SOUTH SHORE TO HURLEY
AND GILE.

GUSTY NORTHERLY WINDS WILL DEVELOP WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND COULD
CREATE HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS FOR SMALL CRAFT...ESPECIALLY ALONG THE
SOUTH SHORE. SMALL CRAFT ADVISORIES MAY BE NEEDED.
