This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Wildfire smoke will persist today. Slight improvements in air
quality are expected during the day. Conditions will likely worsen
again overnight. Please refer to the latest Air Quality Alerts
for Minnesota and Wisconsin for more details.

There is a 20 percent chance of isolated thunderstorms over the
Arrowhead and northwest Wisconsin this evening. A few storms may
be strong to severe. Frequent cloud-to-ground lightning, gusty
winds of 40 to 60 mph, and hail up to the size of a quarter are
the main threats with the strongest storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Wildfire smoke is expected to linger over the Northland through
the Monday morning.

Additional thunderstorm chances are forecast Monday night through
the end of the week. A few strong storms are possible Tuesday.
Locally heavy rainfall may lead to localized flooding Tuesday.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Southwest winds with gusts up to 25 kts are expected along the
North Shore and head of the lake through this evening. Small Craft
Advisories are in effect.

There is a 20 percent chance of isolated thunderstorms over
western Lake Superior this evening. A few storms may be strong to
severe. Occasional cloud-to-water lightning, hail to the size of
quarters, and wind gusts up to 40 knots are possible with the
strongest storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Several chances of thunderstorms are forecast this week including
Monday night into Tuesday and Tuesday afternoon and evening.
