237 AM CST Mon Feb 20 2017

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Near critical fire weather conditions will occur west of a line
from Gothenburg, Nebraska to Plainville, Kansas this afternoon...as
northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph combine with minimum
humidity levels around 25 percent.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

A fire weather watch is in effect for the outlook area Tuesday
afternoon. Please see the latest fire weather message for further
information. Critical or near critical fire weather conditions are
expected again Wednesday afternoon due the combination of gusty
winds, low relative humidity and dry fuels.

Although it is too early to determine amounts, a winter storm
system may produce accumulating snowfall Thursday night and Friday
and the snow may be accompanied by strong north winds.

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
