.DISCUSSION...

A low pressure system approaching from the southwest today will
lead to rapidly changing conditions through the day. Cloud cover
will initially be partly cloudy this morning with high ceilings
around 25,000 ft. Cloud cover will continue to increase through
the morning with mostly cloudy conditions by 10AM with ceilings
dropping to 10,000 ft.

At ignition time, ventilation rates will be poor as an inversion
remains in place. This will quickly improve to good by 9AM but
will also allow for gusty southeast winds to mix down with gusts
in excess of 25 mph. Wind speeds will only increase through the
day as the Low continues its approach. Chances for light rain
showers begin in the early afternoon around 2PM and will see
increasing chances through the afternoon.
