...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHEASTERN MORGAN COUNTY UNTIL
945 PM CDT...

At 920 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles southwest of Morgan City, or 12 miles east of Hartselle, moving
west at 15 mph.

Pea size hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Hartselle, Falkville, Somerville, Eva, Cole Springs, Lacon and
Florette.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike several miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a
safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
