...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN MARSHALL...SOUTHWESTERN
JACKSON...SOUTHEASTERN MADISON AND WEST CENTRAL DEKALB COUNTIES
THROUGH 800 PM CDT...

At 712 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Grant, or 12 miles northeast of Guntersville, moving southeast at 20
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Scottsboro, Guntersville, Rainsville, Henagar, Sylvania, Fyffe,
Powell, Grant, Geraldine, and Section.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
