...BRIEF WINTRY PRECIPITATION MIX THIS MORNING...

MUCH COLDER AIR FILTERING ACROSS NORTHERN ALABAMA AND SOUTHERN
MIDDLE TENNESSEE...HAS RESULTED IN SOME OF THE PRECIPITATION
BECOMING A MIX OF RAIN...SLEET AND SNOW. SEVERAL REPORTS OF SLEET
AND SNOW HAVE BEEN RECEIVED FROM NORTHWEST AND NORTH CENTRAL
ALABAMA.

AIR TEMPERATURES ACROSS THE TENNESSEE VALLEY...RANGED FROM 30 IN
SOUTHERN MIDDLE TENNESSEE AND IN THE MOUNTAINS...TO AROUND 40
ACROSS NORTHEAST ALABAMA. TEMPERATURES SHOULD HOLD STEADY...THEN
SLOWLY FALL THIS AFTERNOON. GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS OF 15-25 MPH
WILL HELP EVAPORATE RESIDUAL WATER FROM THE RECENT RAINFALL.

ANY WINTRY PRECIPITATION SHOULD BE BRIEF...WITH NO IMPACTS
EXPECTED.
