...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN COLBERT AND FRANKLIN
COUNTIES THROUGH 500 PM CDT...

At 324 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking heavy thunderstorms
centered 7 miles east of Midway, or 7 miles southeast of Iuka,
moving southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Heavy rainfall of 1 to 2 inches.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Significant ponding of water and reduced visibility.

Locations impacted include...
Russellville, Red Bay, Phil Campbell, Cherokee, Belgreen, Vina,
Hodges, Malone, Posey Loop, and Atwood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
