THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...SOUTH
CENTRAL AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS THAT MAY PRODUCE NICKEL-SIZED HAIL AND 50 TO
55 MPH WINDS ARE POSSIBLE OVER SOUTHEAST KANSAS FROM THIS AFTERNOON
UNTIL EARLY THIS EVENING.

HEAT INDICES FROM 100 TO 104 WILL PLAGUE MOST AREAS THIS AFTERNOON.
THE MOST INTENSE HEAT WILL HIT SOUTHEAST KANSAS WHERE INDICES MAY
HIT 105 IN PARSONS AND COFFEYVILLE. THE ONLY AREAS IN WHICH HEAT
INDICES SHOULD REMAIN BELOW 100 ARE ALONG AND WEST K-14.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

ON THURSDAY...HEAT INDICES FROM 100 TO 104 WILL HIT MOST AREAS WITH
THE MOST INTENSE HEAT HITTING SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

A FEW THUNDERSTORMS THAT MAY PRODUCE PENNY-SIZED HAIL AND WINDS
AROUND 50 MPH MAY REACH RUSSELL...BARTON AND LINCOLN COUNTIES LATE
THURSDAY NIGHT...WITH SUCH THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE FOR THE REMAINDER
OF CENTRAL KANSAS FRIDAY NIGHT.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL GRADUALLY INCREASE FROM SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH
NEXT TUESDAY. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE...PRIMARILY FROM
SUNDAY THRU MONDAY NIGHT WHEN BOTH HALF DOLLAR SIZED HAIL AND 60 TO
70 MPH WINDS MAY OCCUR.
