This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Areas of dense fog will impact portions of south-central, east-
central and southeast Kansas through mid to late morning, mainly
along and east of the Kansas Turnpike. Visibilities of one-quarter
mile or less are likely. Additionally, watch for slick spots on
area roads this morning, due to temperatures near to below

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Marginally very high grassland fire danger is possible Thursday
across eastern Kansas, due to mild temperatures and strong south

Much colder air will arrive across Mid-America Thursday night,
likely persisting through month`s end. The much colder air in
concert with breezy north winds will support wind chill readings
near to below zero at times, especially during overnight and
morning hours. Additionally, light snow is possible Saturday night
and Christmas Eve. Uncertainty remains too high to discuss specifics
at this time, so please stay tuned if traveling over the weekend.


Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
