This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

On Friday, winds sustained around 30 mph with gusts around 40 mph
are forecast in central Kansas. This will result in very high
grassland fire danger across Russell and Barton counties.

Thunderstorms are possible near the Oklahoma border in the predawn
hours on Saturday. These are not expected to be strong or severe.

Thunderstorms chances will increase on Saturday during the day.
Some of these will be strong and a few could be severe. The strongest
storms are most likely across south central Kansas during the
