This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Patchy fog will impact far southeast Kansas early this morning.

Heat indices will flirt with 100 degrees at a few locations across
the area this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Heat indices between 100 and 105 are forecast each afternoon on
both Tuesday and Wednesday, and on Thursday afternoon in southeast

There is a chance of thunderstorms starting Wednesday morning in
central Kansas, which will spread area wide Wednesday night. Storms
could linger well into Thursday, especially in southeast Kansas.
A few strong storms are possible, particularly on Wednesday
afternoon and early evening.


Spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
