THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL KANSAS,
SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS AND SOUTHEAST KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

HEAT INDICES WILL RANGE FROM 105 TO 111 DEGREES AREAWIDE THROUGH
EARLY THIS EVENING.

A FEW THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE THIS EVENING AND TONIGHT...MAINLY
ALONG AND NORTHWEST OF A GREAT BEND TO SALINA LINE. AN ISOLATED
STRONG STORM WITH WIND GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MPH AND BRIEF DOWNPOURS
WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THE STRONGEST STORMS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

HEAT INDICES OF 105 TO 110 DEGREES WILL PERSIST THROUGH SATURDAY
AND AN EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT.

PERIODIC THUNDERSTORM CHANCES ARE EXPECTED LATE SATURDAY NIGHT
AND CONTINUING THROUGH MUCH OF NEXT WEEK. WHILE WIDESPREAD
ORGANIZED SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED...A HANDFUL OF STRONG TO
SEVERE STORMS ARE POSSIBLE.
