Crawfordsville, Anderson, Muncie, Indianapolis, Terre Haute,
Shelbyville, Bloomington, Columbus, Vincennes, Bedford, and Seymour

This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Outlook: Light rain will develop over central Indiana during the
late morning and early afternoon...continuing through the evening.
Snow may mix in at times...but no impacts are anticipated.

Hazards: slick spots tonight.

Timing: any light snow mixing in will occur late morning and early
afternoon and again during the evening.

Discussion: High pressure will provide quiet weather.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Outlook: Significant rainfall is possible at times starting late
Sunday night and then continuing for much of next week across central
Indiana. Flooding, possibly significant flooding, could develop as a
result of this rainfall. A few thunderstorms are possible at times as
well. No severe storms are expected at this time.

Discussion: A slow moving front will interact with warm and moist
air from the Gulf of Mexico to bring rain next week. The rain could
be heavy at times with as much as 3 to 4 inches possible in spots by
Wednesday evening. Lowland flooding is expected, with the
possibility of the development of significant river flooding next
week as well.


Spotter activation is not anticipated.
