THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR CENTRAL INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

OUTLOOK: LIGHT FREEZING RAIN IS EXPECTED ACROSS CENTRAL INDIANA
THIS MORNING AND EARLY AFTERNOON. THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR FREEZING RAIN
ACROSS FAR SOUTHERN CENTRAL INDIANA VERY LATE TONIGHT.

HAZARDS: SLICK ROADS AND OUTDOOR SURFACES FROM ICE ACCUMULATION.

TIMING: THROUGH THE MORNING AND EARLY AFTERNOON HOURS.
TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO RISE ABOVE FREEZING THIS AFTERNOON
AS PRECIPITATION ENDS.

DISCUSSION: FREEZING RAIN IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ACROSS CENTRAL
INDIANA. THIS WILL RESULT IN SLIPPERY SURFACES. EXERCISE CAUTION
WHEN VENTURING OUTDOORS TONIGHT ON FOOT OR IN A VEHICLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

OUTLOOK: THERE IS A CHANCE FOR FREEZING RAIN ON SUNDAY AND SUNDAY
NIGHT. TOTAL ICE ACCUMULATIONS WILL AVERAGE FROM A LIGHT GLAZE UP
TO TWO TENTHS OF AN INCH. THE MAIN IMPACT FROM THIS SHOULD BE
HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS FROM SLICK ICE COVERED ROADS.

DISCUSSION: A STALLED FRONT INTERACTING WITH HIGH PRESSURE
ARRIVING FROM THE UPPER MIDWEST WILL RESULT IN CHANCES FOR
FREEZING RAIN ON SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT.

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE INTO THE CENTRAL PLAINS MONDAY AND
THIS WILL PULL THE FRONTAL SYSTEM BACK TO THE NORTH ALLOWING
MILDER AIR TO SPREAD BACK INTO OUR REGION.
