This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Outlook: Scattered thunderstorms (North)

Hazards: Lightning, brief heavy rain and gusty winds.

Timing: This afternoon.

Discussion: An upper wave will trigger some showers and thunderstorms
this afternoon mainly across the northern counties.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Outlook: There is a chance of thunderstorms over all or parts of
central Indiana Tuesday and Wednesday night through Sunday. Brief
heavy rainfall, cloud to ground lightning and gusty winds will be

Discussion: An upper wave will bring thunderstorms to northern parts
of central Indiana Tuesday. Then, a frontal system will bring more
thunderstorms to the area late in the week and this weekend.


Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
