Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi

.DISCUSSION...A wet weather pattern will begin this afternoon and
continue through the majority of the work week. Severe storms will
be possible tonight through Monday night with damaging wind gusts
up to 70 mph, quarter to golf ball size hail, and tornadoes all
possible with the most intense storms. Heavy rainfall is also
expected through Tuesday morning, with 3-5 inches and locally
higher, possible over areas mainly south of the Interstate 20
corridor. Quiet conditions return Wednesday, but they`ll be
short-lived as chances for showers and storms return Thursday
through Friday.
