The National Weather Service in JACKSON KY has issued a

* Flood Advisory for Minor Flooding in Poor Drainage Areas for...
  Southern McCreary County in south central Kentucky...

* Until 545 PM EDT

* At 346 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. Some locations have already picked up an inch and a
  half of rain since 3 pm. Up to an additional inch of rain is
  possible between 3:45 and 4:30 pm.

  Excessive runoff will cause minor flooding of poor drainage and
  low lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Blue Heron, Great Meadows Campsites, Pine Knot, Strunk, Hollyhill,
  Stearns and Winfield.


Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
