PANHANDLE...SOUTH PLAINS AND ROLLING PLAINS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

FIRE WEATHER

WARM...DRY AND BREEZY CONDITIONS WILL CREATE A PERIOD OF ELEVATED
FIRE WEATHER ACROSS MUCH OF THE SOUTHERN TEXAS PANHANDLE AND
NORTHERN SOUTH PLAINS THIS AFTERNOON. A FIRE DANGER STATEMENT IS
IN EFFECT FOR THIS REGION THROUGH 6 PM.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

BRIEF ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS MAY BE POSSIBLE SATURDAY
AFTERNOON AND PERHAPS AGAIN SUNDAY AFTERNOON MAINLY WEST OF THE
CAPROCK ESCARPMENT.
