THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE EXTREME SOUTHERN TEXAS
PANHANDLE...SOUTH PLAINS AND ROLLING PLAINS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

FLOODING
HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE ENTIRE AREA TODAY AND
TONIGHT AS ABUNDANT MOISTURE REMAINS IN PLACE AHEAD OF A STRONG
UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE. THIS WILL LEAD TO PERIODS OF AREAL
FLOODING...AS WELL AS FLASH FLOODING POTENTIAL NEAR AND ALONG THE CAPROCK
ESCARPMENT. A FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR THE ENTIRE FAR SOUTHERN
PANHANDLE...SOUTH PLAINS...AND ROLLING PLAINS INTO SATURDAY
EVENING.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY
THE RISK OF HEAVY RAINFALL AND POTENTIAL FLOODING WILL CONTINUE
THROUGH SATURDAY.
