THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE EXTREME SOUTHERN TEXAS
PANHANDLE...SOUTH PLAINS AND ROLLING PLAINS.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight
Strong and dry westerly winds will spread out of eastern New
Mexico into the southwest Texas Panhandle and South Plains
resulting a period of elevated to critical fire weather this
afternoon. A Red Flag Warning is in affect for the southwest Texas
Panhandle and western South Plains from noon until 7 pm. Adjacent
to the Red Flag Warning a Fire Danger Statement is in effect for
the central South Plains from 3 pm until 7 pm. Conditions will
quickly improve around sunset as winds diminish.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday
Elevated to critical fire weather conditions are possible Sunday
through Tuesday.
