THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE SOUTH PLAINS...ROLLING
PLAINS AND THE FAR SOUTHERN TEXAS PANHANDLE.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE IN COVERAGE AND INTENSITY THIS
AFTERNOON AND EVENING WITH LOCATIONS EAST OF INTERSTATE 27 AND
HIGHWAY 87 MOST FAVORED. THE GREATEST THREAT WITH THIS ACTIVITY
WILL BE LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN AND GUSTY WINDS...THOUGH A FEW STORMS
COULD BRIEFLY BECOME STRONG TO MARGINALLY SEVERE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE ON SUNDAY PARTICULARLY SOUTH
OF A LINE FROM BROWNFIELD TO PADUCAH. ADDITIONALLY...STRONG
NORTHEASTERLY WINDS MAY BRIEFLY BECOME SUSTAINED IN EXCESS OF 30
MPH ACROSS THE SOUTHWEST TEXAS PANHANDLE AND NORTHWEST SOUTH
PLAINS BEHIND A STRONG COLD FRONT.
