This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the South Plains...Rolling
Plains and the far Southern Texas Panhandle.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Dry conditions combined with breezy winds of 20-25 mph with higher
gusts will result in elevated to critical fire weather conditions
especially for the South Plains and extreme southeast Texas
Panhandle. A Fire Weather Watch in is effect for counties west of
the Caprock Escarpment, as well as the southern Texas Panhandle
for Friday afternoon.


Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.

Area fire managers and emergency officials should be alert for
elevated to critical fire weather conditions on Friday.
