...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN CLINTON...
NORTHEASTERN ESSEX...NORTHWESTERN ADDISON AND SOUTHWESTERN CHITTENDEN
COUNTIES THROUGH 600 PM EDT...

At 507 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles south of North Elba, moving east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
South Burlington, Charlotte, Jay, Willsboro, North Elba,
Chesterfield, Essex, Elizabethtown, Keene, Lewis, Shelburne,
Westport, Wilmington, North Hudson, Newcomb, Mcneil Cove, Sloop
Island, Wings Point, Meach Island, and Hatch Point.

This includes Interstate 87 between mile markers 113 and 137.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
