...QUICK HITTING SPRING STORM FOR TODAY AND THIS EVENING...

A FAST MOVING PACIFIC STORM WILL BRING WIDESPREAD RAIN AND SNOW
SHOWERS TO LINCOLN COUNTY THIS MORNING...CONTINUING INTO THE
EVENING HOURS. THE SHOWERS WILL BE MAINLY SNOW ABOVE 8000 FEET
WITH SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES POSSIBLE ON THE PASSES.
LITTLE OR NO SNOW ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED IN THE LOWER ELEVATIONS.

THE AIR MASS WILL BE UNSTABLE ENOUGH FOR SOME EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS
IN THE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING HOURS. STRONG WIND GUSTS TO 50
MPH AND SMALL HAIL...ALONG WITH DANGEROUS LIGHTNING WILL BE THE
MAIN THREATS WITH THESE THUNDERSTORMS. RAINFALL ON MELTING SNOW
MAY CAUSE SOME PONDING OF WATER IN FIELDS.
