...STRONG WINDS EXPECTED ALONG THE CODY FOOTHILLS FRIDAY NIGHT AND
SATURDAY MORNING...

AN APPROACHING WEATHER DISTURBANCE FROM THE NORTHWEST WILL HELP TO
INITIATE GUSTY TO STRONG WEST WINDS ACROSS THE CODY FOOTHILLS AS
EARLY AS LATER THIS EVENING. THE STRONGEST WINDS WILL LIKELY
OCCUR LATE TONIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING. THE STRONGEST WINDS
WILL LIKELY BE IN THE GAP FLOW FAVORED AREAS JUST SOUTH OF CLARK
AND JUST SOUTH OF CODY ALONG HIGHWAY 120. WEST WINDS WILL INCREASE
TO 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS 45 TO 55 MPH WITH LOCALIZED GUSTS
AROUND 60 MPH. EVEN STRONGER WINDS ARE POSSIBLE SUNDAY AND
SUNDAY NIGHT.

SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE ACROSS THE AREA FROM EASTERN
SWEETWATER THROUGH EASTERN FREMONT AND ACROSS NATRONA COUNTIES ON
SUNDAY. THE STRONGEST WINDS WILL LIKELY OCCUR SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND
EVENING...INCREASING TO 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS 45 TO 55 MPH WITH
LOCALIZED GUSTS AROUND 60 MPH.

...SIGNIFICANT SNOW RETURNS TO WESTERN WYOMING SUNDAY...

LIGHT SNOW WILL INCREASE ACROSS WESTERN WYOMING LATER TONIGHT AND
LINGER AROUND THE AREA THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT. THEN MORE
SIGNIFICANT SNOW WILL DEVELOP SUNDAY MORNING AND CONTINUE THROUGH
SUNDAY NIGHT. THE HEAVIEST SNOW LOOKS TO OCCUR BETWEEN LATER
SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND SUNRISE MONDAY MORNING.

SNOWFALL OF 2 TO 5 INCHES MAY OCCUR IN THE LOWER ELEVATIONS AND
VALLEYS WITH 6 TO 12 INCHES POSSIBLE IN THE MOUNTAINS . AREAS OF
WEST TO SOUTHWEST WIND AT 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS 40 TO 50 MPH
COULD CAUSE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW IN OPEN AREAS. VISIBILITY
WILL BE LOW AT TIMES.
