This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

There is an isolated risk for strong to severe wet downbursts to
bring gusty winds and torrential rainfall this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

An active pattern will continue through the end of the week with
isolated strong to severe storms and flooding possible each afternoon.
Numerous to widespread showers and storms Wednesday through Friday
may result in scattered flash flooding, which will be most probable
in urban areas as well as the more hydrologic sensitive areas in the
eastern Piedmont where the heaviest rainfall from Chantal occurred on
Sunday.
