UNDER MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES...PREDAWN TEMPERATURES RANGED FROM THE LOW
TO MID 50S ACROSS WESTERN NEBRASKA TO THE LOW 70S ACROSS MUCH OF
EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND SOUTHERN MISSOURI. WIDELY SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED EARLY THIS MORNING OVER NORTHWEST ARKANSAS
AND SOUTHERN MISSOURI WHILE PATCHY FOG WAS PRESENT ACROSS PORTIONS
OF SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

LIGHT SOUTHEAST WINDS WILL RETURN TO THE AREA TODAY AS SURFACE HIGH
PRESSURE SETTLES OVER THE MISSISSIPPI VALLEY. THIS WILL LEAD TO
SEASONABLE TEMPERATURES WITH HIGHS RANGING FROM THE 80S OVER IOWA
AND NORTHERN MISSOURI TO THE LOW 90S ACROSS MUCH OF WESTERN AND
SOUTHERN KANSAS INCLUDING OKLAHOMA.

A FEW STORMS MAY DEVELOP ACROSS THE HIGH PLAINS LATE
TONIGHT...HOWEVER MOST LOCATIONS WILL REMAIN DRY. MILD LATE SUMMER
TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED WITH LOWS IN THE 60S AND 70S.
