A THIN LINE OF SHOWERS THAT CONTAINED A COUPLE THUNDERSTORMS HAVE BEEN
OCCURRING OVER SOUTHEAST KANSAS ALONG A COLD FRONT THAT STRETCHED FROM
SOUTHERN MISSOURI...TO ALONG THE KANSAS OKLAHOMA BORDER...TO THE TEXAS
PANHANDLE. SOUTH OF THE FRONT...TEMPERATURES REACHED THE MID AND UPPER
80S WHILE NORTH OF THE BOUNDARY THE MERCURY STRUGGLED TO REACH 70 AS A
NORTHEAST 10 TO 20 MPH WIND PREVAILED. SKIES WERE CLOUDY IN MOST AREAS
WITH NORTHERN KANSAS THE EXCEPTION WHERE SKIES HAD CLEARED.

WITH THE COLD FRONT MOVING SLOWLY SOUTHEAST...THE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
SLOW TO VACATE SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND OKLAHOMA THIS EVENING. LIGHT RAIN OR
DRIZZLE WILL PESTER SOUTHERN MISSOURI WHILE AREAS OF FOG SHOULD DEVELOP
ACROSS MUCH OF WESTERN KANSAS LATER TONIGHT...AS NORTHEAST WINDS SLOWLY
SHIFT TO AN EASTERLY DIRECTION UNDER 10 MPH. NEBRASKA...NORTHERN KANSAS
AND NORTHERN MISSOURI WILL SETTLE INTO THE MID AND UPPER 40S WHILE LOWS
AROUND 60 ARE TICKETED FOR OKLAHOMA.

THE FOG OCCURRING ACROSS WESTERN KANSAS WILL DISSIPATE BY MID-MORNING
TUESDAY WHILE A FEW THUNDERSTORMS MAY LINGER OVER EASTERN OKLAHOMA AS
THE FRONT SAGS ACROSS OKLAHOMA. WITH WINDS SHIFTING TO THE SOUTH FROM
10 TO 15 MPH WESTERN KANSAS WILL REACH THE MID 80S WHILE THE REMAINDER
OF KANSAS AND MOST OF OKLAHOMA WOULD REACH THE 70S WITH NORTHERN
MISSOURI ONLY REACHING THE UPPER 60S. CLOUDS WILL COVER MOST AREAS WITH
MISSOURI THE EXCEPTION WHERE HIGH PRESSURE WILL ALLOW SKIES TO CLEAR.
