Regional Weather Summary

A large storm system remained situated across the Rockies during the
overnight hours. Showers and storms continued to impact parts of
Southeast Kansas and some locations across Northwest and Central
Kansas. A cold front was bisecting the state during the early
morning hours with temperatures ranging from the mid 40s across the
high plains of Northwest Kansas to the lower 60s across much of
Southeast Kansas.

Showers and thunderstorms will impact much of the state again today
while the strong to severe storms will be confined to portions of
South Central and Eastern Kansas. Afternoon highs will remain well
below normal for late May ranging from the upper 40s in Northwest
Kansas to the mid and upper 70s in Southeast Kansas.

Precipitation will begin to taper off from west to east late tonight
with lows ranging from the upper 30s in extreme Northwest Kansas to
near 60 across far Southeast Kansas.
