Clear skies and cold temperatures prevailed across central and
eastern Kansas last night. Predawn temperatures were in the teens
and lower 20s with light northwest winds.

Surface high pressure will sink slowly southeast across the region
today with cold below normal temperatures expected. Daytime highs
will range from the lower 30s in Nebraska to the upper 40s across
central Oklahoma.

Cold and quiet weather conditions will continue for tonight over
the central plains as surface high drifts slowly eastward.
Overnight lows will range from the single digits in the Nebraska
panhandle to the mid 30s over eastern Oklahoma.
