LOW CLOUDS ENVELOPED EASTERN KANSAS AND OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN
MISSOURI AND ARKANSAS DURING THE OVERNIGHT HOURS.   TEMPERATURES
WERE PLEASANTLY COOL...WITH OVERNIGHT TEMPERATURES DIPPING INTO THE
LOWER 40S ACROSS NORTHWEST KANSAS INTO WESTERN NEBRASKA TO THE LOWER
60S ACROSS NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA.  NIGHTTIME MINIMUM TEMPERATURES
ACROSS THE MAJORITY OF KANSAS WERE IN THE MIDDLE 40S IN CENTRAL
KANSAS TO THE UPPER 50S IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS.  WINDS WERE LIGHT
AND VARIABLE.

FOR THE LAST DAY OF MAY...CLOUDS WILL CLEAR GRADUALLY FROM WEST TO
EAST...WITH SUNSHINE EXPECTED ACROSS THE REGION BY MID TO LATE
AFTERNOON.  SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE WILL MOVE EAST...ALLOWING
SOUTHERLY WINDS TO RETURN TO THE REGION. THE SOUTH WIND WILL BOOST
TEMPERATURES INTO UPPER 60S FROM WESTERN MISSOURI INTO EASTERN
KANSAS...TO THE MIDDLE AND UPPER 70S ACROSS CENTRAL AND WESTERN
KANSAS.
