Mostly sunny skies have dominated the state of Kansas today.  Highs
have ranged from the mid 90s in Southwest and Southern Kansas to the
low 90s in Northern Kansas.  Winds have been relatively light with
southerly winds in Southwest Kansas while the rest of the State has
been our of the Northeast.  Wind speeds have ranged in from 15 to 20
mph across the State.  Showers and thunderstorms, some of them
severe has also occurred in North Central and South Central Kansas
this afternoon.

Overnight tonight will be partly cloudy and mild.  Overnight lows
will range from the low 70s in Southeast Kansas to the mid 60s in
Western Kansas.  Many areas of Kansas can also expect scattered
showers and thunderstorms, some of which may be severe with very
heavy rain.  Localized flooding is possible.

Friday will be cooler with mostly cloudy skies.  High will range
from the mid to upper 80s in Southeast Kansas to the low 80s in
Northwest Kansas.  Scattered showers and thunderstorms will again be
possible, some of which could be severe with very heavy rain.
