EASTERN KANSAS OVERNIGHT WITH LIGHT WINDS. PREDAWN TEMPERATURES
WERE GENERALLY IN THE LOW TO MID 70S.

CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL EXIST TODAY AND
TONIGHT ALONG AND NORTH OF A SLOW MOVING FRONT...FROM SOUTHERN
SECTIONS OF IOWA AND NEBRASKA INTO NORTHERN SECTIONS OF MISSOURI
AND KANSAS. MEANWHILE...A WEATHER DISTURBANCE ALOFT WILL MOVE
FROM THE ROCKIES ACROSS THE HIGH PLAINS...RESULTING IN CHANCES FOR
SHOWERS AND STORMS SPREADING FROM WESTERN SECTIONS OF KANSAS AND
OKLAHOMA TODAY INTO CENTRAL KANSAS TONIGHT. DRY WEATHER IS EXPECTED
FURTHER EAST ACROSS SOUTHEAST KANSAS...EASTERN OKLAHOMA...SOUTHERN
MISSOURI AND NORTHERN ARKANSAS.

HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL RANGE FROM THE 80S OVER MUCH OF
IOWA...NEBRASKA AND NORTHERN MISSOURI...WITH 90S ACROSS THE REST
OF THE HEARTLAND. LOWS TONIGHT WILL FALL INTO THE 60S AND 70S
ACROSS THE REGION.
