Excessive Heat, Severe Weather and Heavy Rainfall Concerns Today

Dangerous heat continues for the Southwest and portions of California today. The heat will also be of concern for lower elevations of Puerto Rico and USVI. A few severe thunderstorms are expected across portions of the Southern Plains and upper Midwest.
