...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY THROUGH SUNDAY...

Synopsis: A weakening area of low pressure near Cape Suckling will move NW into Prince William Sound Saturday morning. A gale force low will develop over the north Pacific and move to just west of Haida Gwaii Saturday...bringing increased winds and seas to the southern Alaska Panhandle and Dixon Entrance region early in the weekend. Another stronger area of low pressure...potentially strengthening to storm force...will move from the north Pacific into the central Gulf of Alaska on Monday.

S wind 10 to 20 kt becoming NNE in the afternoon. A slight chance of rain after 3pm. Seas 10 to 11 ft.

Saturday Night

N wind 15 to 20 kt decreasing to 10 to 15 kt after midnight. Rain likely, mainly between 9pm and midnight. Seas 9 to 10 ft.

Sunday

NW wind 10 to 15 kt becoming WSW in the afternoon. A chance of rain. Seas 9 to 10 ft.

Sunday Night

ESE wind 10 to 20 kt increasing to 30 to 40 kt. Winds could gust as high as 60 kt. Rain, mainly after 9pm. Seas 9 ft building to 21 ft.
