The Red Feather RAWS shows light southeast winds, but some private weather stations in the Crystal Lakes area currently have light and variable winds. There still is the possibility of stronger wind gusts this afternoon and evening with any passing showers or storms, but current radar would suggest the possibility of this is rather low (<25%). Temperatures/humidity are likely near their peak values for the day and should see some improvement by 5-6pm. Overnight, winds should shift to a southwesterly direction with speeds remaining fairly light. Overnight lows should reach the mid to upper 40s with humidity recovery near 60-70%. Stronger winds should develop on Tuesday, with southwesterly flow increasing through the day. Sustained winds of 15 to 25 mph are expected by the afternoon hours with some gusts to around 35 mph. A line of showers and embedded thunderstorms is expected during the early afternoon hours tomorrow, which could produce gusts near 50-60 mph. Gusty winds will linger into the evening hours. .REST OF TODAY... Sky/weather.........Mostly cloudy (60-70 percent). Chance of rain showers and thunderstorms. CWR.................6 percent.
