.Synopsis for Massachusetts and Rhode Island coastal waters...
An area of high pressure remains anchored over the far eastern outer
waters which maintains SSW wind gusts 20-25 knots for most of the
waters. This afternoon and evening, a showers and thunderstorms are
possible, mainly for the northeast waters east of Cape Ann. Storms
could become strong to severe.

Back door cold front will shift winds to the ENE for Friday and
Saturday. Scattered showers and thunderstorms possible each
afternoon and evening through Sunday. Cold frontal passage Monday
will usher in drier conditions next week.
