Storms developing in the TX panhandle this afternoon may move into
parts of western OK early this evening. If this does occur, gusty
winds will be possible.

There is a low chance (15-20%) of some showers/storms developing
again overnight into Sunday morning across portions of OK due to
advection.

Temperatures are expected to fall into the mid 60s to around 70
tonight. Above average temperatures are expected Sunday afternoon
with highs in the 90s. Temperatures around 100 will be possible in
parts of southwest OK and western north TX.

Above average temperatures will continue much of next week with
highs in the 90s across most of the area. Low temperatures will
gradually warm through next week with lows in the 70s for
some locations expected for the last half of next week.

Models show a shortwave lifting NE into the central/northern Plains
towards the middle of next week. The shortwave will bring a chance
for showers/storms across portions of the fa with the highest
chances (30-40%) across portions of western and northern OK.

Models show southwest flow aloft continuing  across the region the
rest of next week. A chance for more widespread showers/storms will
be towards next weekend as another shortwave approaches and moves
into the central/southern Plains.

VFR conditions are expected until 152400. Winds will be light
southeast except moderately gusty Sunday afternoon in western
Oklahoma. Isolated showers and storms may occur near and east of
KSWO and KOKC early Sunday.
