Issued at 332 PM CST Sun Nov 9 2025 Cooler air mass continues to infiltrate the area with one more night of cold temperatures, making tonight the coldest temperatures seen so far this season with air temperatures ranging from around 10 degrees to 18 degrees. The coldest temperatures will be east of HWY 83 where skies will be clear, west of HWY 83 clouds are expected to remain most of the night and will help temperatures stay slightly warmer, albeit only a few degrees...but in the upper teen. Although winds will be light overnight will still see wind chills dip into the single digits across portions of the Sandhills into north central Nebraska. For Monday, temperatures will begin to moderate as southerly flow returns with highs in the 50s to low 60s, generally west of HWY 183, areas near and east of there will see temperatures in the 40s. && .LONG TERM /MONDAY THROUGH SUNDAY/... Issued at 332 PM CST Sun Nov 9 2025 A broad upper level ridge begins to build across the western CONUS continuing to spread eastward with temperatures warming through the week into widespread 60s on Tuesday and Wednesday. Ridge will become centered over the High Plains on Thursday leading to the warmest day this week with highs reaching the low 70s across the Sandhills and western Nebraska. This is near 20 degrees or more above normal for this time of year. As far as precipitation goes, expect the week to remain mostly dry, with the next chance of precipitation not arriving until late Friday into Saturday depending on the timing of an approaching trof. This will also cool temperatures for the weekend, but not expected to be as cool as this weekend, but a return to more seasonable temperatures. && .AVIATION /00Z TAFS THROUGH 00Z TUESDAY/...
