the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure, 30.40 inches, gradually expands across
the region this afternoon into Saturday, allowing winds to slowly
decrease. Another low, 29.60 inches, is forecast to lift directly
across the central Great Lakes from the Midwest Saturday night
and Sunday, bringing widespread snow with short lived strong
gusty winds Sunday evening.

.REST OF TODAY...West winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 30 knots
diminishing to 15 to 20 knots late in the afternoon. Partly sunny. A
chance of flurries. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.TONIGHT...West winds 15 to 20 knots diminishing to 5 to 10 knots.
Mostly clear. A chance of flurries early in the evening. Waves 1 to
3 feet.
.SATURDAY...Southwest winds 5 to 10 knots becoming south 10 to 15
knots early in the afternoon. Mostly cloudy. A chance of light snow
early in the afternoon. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SATURDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds 15 to 20 knots becoming south 20
to 25 knots in the late evening and overnight. Snow early in the
evening...then snow and rain in the late evening and overnight. Snow
may be heavy at times until early morning. Waves 1 to 3 feet
building to 2 to 4 feet in the late evening and overnight.
.SUNDAY...Southwest winds 20 to 25 knots veering to the northwest in
the evening. Light rain and snow...then partly cloudy in the
evening. Waves 3 to 5 feet subsiding to 2 to 4 feet in the afternoon
and evening. Waves occasionally around 7 feet.
.MONDAY...Southwest winds 20 to 25 knots. Partly cloudy. Waves 2
feet or less.
.TUESDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots. Partly cloudy. A chance of
light snow. Waves 2 feet or less.
