Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A trough will linger across the northern Great Lakes
to start the day until strong area of high pressure around 30.80
inches starts building into the region for tonight and Friday.
This high will be short lived as a strengthening low pressure
system lifts through the central Great Lakes on Saturday at 29.40
inches.

.REST OF TODAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots. Mostly cloudy.
Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.TONIGHT...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots becoming north 10 to 15
knots early in the morning. Partly cloudy. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.FRIDAY...North winds 10 to 15 knots becoming northeast 5 to 10
knots in the late morning and early afternoon...then veering to the
southeast early in the afternoon. Partly sunny. Waves 2 feet or
less.
.FRIDAY NIGHT...Southeast winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to
20 knots in the late evening and overnight. A chance of light snow
in the evening...then snow after midnight. Snow may be heavy at
times after midnight. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.SATURDAY...South winds 20 to 25 knots veering to the west in the
evening. Gusts to 35 knot gales. Areas of drizzle in the morning.
Drizzle in the afternoon. Snow. Waves 2 to 4 feet.  A Gale Warning
may be needed.
.SUNDAY...West winds 20 to 25 knots with gusts to 30 knots. Mostly
cloudy with a chance of light snow showers. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
.MONDAY...Northwest winds 15 to 20 knots. Partly cloudy. Waves 2
feet or less.
