Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure around 30.50 inches will build east of
the Ohio Valley this morning. In its wake, a weak low pressure
system will track through the northern Great Lakes tonight with
the trailing cold front moving through the region Thursday
morning. Another stronger cold front will then track through the
region Thursday night into Friday morning some potential for
northwest gales in its wake late Friday. A large high pressure
system near 30.60 inches will build through the northern Great
Lakes in behind this front on Friday night and Saturday.

in the late morning and afternoon. Partly sunny. Waves 2 feet or
less.
.TONIGHT...South winds 15 to 20 knots becoming southwest 10 to 15
knots early in the morning. Cloudy. A chance of light rain and snow
after midnight. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.THURSDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots. Mostly cloudy. Waves 2
feet or less.
.THURSDAY NIGHT...West winds 10 to 15 knots. Partly cloudy. Waves 2
feet or less.
.FRIDAY...West winds 10 to 15 knots veering to the north in the
evening. Partly cloudy. Waves 2 feet or less.
.SATURDAY...East winds 10 to 15 knots. Mostly clear. Waves 2 feet or
less.
.SUNDAY...South winds 10 to 15 knots. Partly cloudy. Waves 2 feet or
less.
