Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northern Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
419 AM CDT Tue May 22 2018

.DISCUSSION...
Very warm and moist conditions will continue today. Scattered to
numerous showers and thunderstorms will develop after daybreak,
with the highest precipitation coverage across northeast Alabama
near the Georgia border. Fog may form overnight where rain
occurs today.

Winds will shift to the north tonight, ushering slightly drier air
into the region for Wednesday (though humidity will not fall much).
Rain chances will decrease, transport winds will increase, and
dispersion will improve. This drier period will persist into
Thursday, before tropical moisture returns for the Memorial Day
weekend.

Fog potential over the next few days: Possible tonight,
especially where more consistent/widespread rain occurs.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: None.
