Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northern Alabama

.DISCUSSION...

Dry and mild conditions are expected tonight with some patchy fog
possible. Showers will return tomorrow during the late afternoon
to evening hours. Coverage will become widespread by Tuesday with
a few thunderstorms also possible. Southeasterly transport winds
will be ~10kt and with mixing heights around 1,000ft, will result
in poor to generally poor dispersions. Transport winds will become
northerly behind the cold front on Tuesday and increase to 15mph.
Mixing heights will also improve reaching ~2,000ft allowing for
fair to generally poor dispersions. Rain will slowly taper off
from west to east heading into Wednesday.

Fog potential over the next few days: Patchy fog is possible tonight.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions:None at this time.
