Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Northern Alabama
National Weather Service Huntsville AL
255 PM CDT Mon Apr 23 2018

.DISCUSSION...

Scattered showers will be possible tonight in association with an
upper low that is moving across the region. High relative
humidity is expected to continue through the next 48 hours. There
will be noticeable breaks in the showers, but hard to predict the
timing of these breaks. Showers will begin to become lower in
coverage by Tuesday with northwesterly transport winds around
15-20 MPH. As a result, should see generally good dispersion on
Tuesday. A brief break in precipitation potential is possible on
Wednesday in between systems before the next upper low arrives on
Wednesday night. Precipitation chances increase on Wednesday night
into Thursday with `dry` weather possible late on Thursday night.

An additional chance of precipitation is expected on Friday into
Friday afternoon as a quick moving upper system moves southeast
across the region. Dry weather should then prevail from Friday
night through the rest of the weekend as a surface high pressure
system moves in place behind the system.

Fog potential over the next few days: none at this time.

Potential for Red Flag Conditions: none at this time.
