.DISCUSSION...
High pressure will persist today before shifting offshore on Wednesday. Gusty
winds and critical relative humidity are expected this afternoon. Above normal
temperatures are forecast Wednesday and Thursday ahead of a dry cold front
which will cross the region during Thursday, and another dangerous combination
of relative humidity and gusty winds is possible Thursday. Cooler temperatures will
follow this front. The next chance for rainfall is late next weekend.
Wind profile analysis/fire control over flat terrain is Favorable.
