.SYNOPSIS...Potential Tropical Cyclone 16 is centered well
northeast of the central Florida Atlantic waters. The system is
forecast to strengthen and move north toward the North Carolina
coast early Saturday morning. As it does so, freshening north
winds, building seas, and a long period swell will produce
hazardous boating and surf conditions across the local Atlantic
waters into Saturday.
.GULF STREAM HAZARDS...Northerly winds up to 15 to 20 knots north
of Sebastian Inlet, with seas building to 7 to 10 feet today.
The approximate location of the west wall of the Gulf Stream
based on the Real Time Ocean Forecast System as of Tuesday,
September 19th.
