...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN BURLEIGH...MORTON
AND NORTHWESTERN GRANT COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM CDT/415 PM MDT/...

At 437 PM CDT/337 PM MDT/, strong thunderstorms were located along a
line extending from 8 miles west of Mandan to 9 miles southwest of
Almont to 4 miles north of New Leipzig. Movement was east at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Bismarck, Mandan, Lincoln, New Salem, Glen Ullin, Elgin, Carson,
Flasher, New Leipzig, Menoken, Almont, Heart Butte Dam, St. Anthony,
Judson, Lark, Double Ditch Indian Village, Heil, University Of Mary,
Sweet Briar Lake, and Crown Butte Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, seek shelter inside a building.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT/800 PM
MDT/ for south central and southwestern North Dakota.
