THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF CENTRAL...SOUTH
CENTRAL...SOUTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

THERE WILL BE A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS THIS AFTERNOON
AND EARLY THIS EVENING EAST OF ASHLAND TO RUSH CENTER LINE. A FEW
OF THE STRONGER THUNDERSTORMS LATE TODAY WILL BE CAPABLE OF
PRODUCING WIND GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH.

THERE WILL ALSO BE A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS AFTER SUNSET
ALONG AND NORTH OF HIGHWAY 96. BRIEF PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN AND
WIND GUSTS UP TO 50 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE FROM A FEW OF THESE
STORMS OVERNIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

THERE WILL BE A CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS ON MONDAY ACROSS WEST
CENTRAL AND NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS. SOME STORMS ON MONDAY MAY
PRODUCE SMALL HAIL AND WIND GUSTS UP TO 55 MPH, MAINLY NORTH OF
HIGHWAY 96.

THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL THEN IMPROVE ACROSS ALL OF WESTERN
KANSAS TUESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY. AT THIS TIME IT IS TOO EARLY TO
TELL IF ANY OF THESE STORMS WILL BE SEVERE.
