This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...south
central...southwest and west central Kansas.

Day 1 Discussion
A heat advisory is in effect for Trego, Ellis, and Rush Counties as
heat indices are forecast to reach 105 degrees this afternoon.

Day 1 Hazards
* Excessive heat: Significant risk

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Days 2-7 Discussion
A heat wave will continue through the week and into at least the first
part of the upcoming weekend. Temperatures are forecast to reach 99 to
102 degrees each day with heat indices expected to be around the same
temperature. The next chance for organized thunderstorm activity will
most likely be late in the upcoming weekend.
