A DENSE FOG ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE AREA THROUGH LATE
MORNING. PLEASE REFER TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WEBSITE AT
WEATHER.GOV/DESMOINES FOR FURTHER DETAILS.

AREAS OF FOG WILL LIKELY LINGER THROUGH THE AFTERNOON AND THICKEN
ONCE AGAIN TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

ICE JAMS AND ISOLATED MINOR FLOODING ARE POSSIBLE ON AREA STREAMS
THROUGH THE END OF THIS WEEK.

A STORM SYSTEM IS EXPECTED TO IMPACT IOWA MID NEXT WEEK. AT THIS
TIME IT APPEARS NORTHERN IOWA HAS THE BEST CHANCE TO SEE
ACCUMULATING SNOWFALL. FORECASTS FOR THIS SYSTEM WILL BECOME
BETTER DEFINED OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS.
