...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Nebraska...

  Wood River Near Alda affecting Hall County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

The next statement will be issued Friday afternoon at noon CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL LATE SATURDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is now forecast.

* WHERE...Wood River near Alda.

* WHEN...Until late Saturday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding occurs in pastures
  and farm lands.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 7.5 feet, or 2.5 feet
    below minor flood stage of 10.0 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet.
  - Forecast...It is becoming more unclear whether the Wood River
    will actually flood in the Alda area. However, the latest
    forecast projects that another rise to just above flood stage
    to around 10.1 feet is possible Friday afternoon and evening
    before then falling below flood stage Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
