THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND
PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING...THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE
POSSIBLE ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE OUTLOOK AREA...MAINLY ALONG AND
EAST OF A YORK NEBRASKA TO OSBORNE KANSAS LINE. SHOULD
THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOP...THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR A FEW STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS...WITH HAIL NEAR THE SIZE OF NICKELS AND WIND GUSTS
NEAR 50 MPH THE PRIMARY HAZARDS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL APPROACH OR EXCEED 100 DEGREES ACROSS MUCH
OF THE FORECAST AREA SUNDAY AFTERNOON.

THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR A COUPLE THUNDERSTORMS TO FORM LATE
SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING THEN CONTINUE INTO MONDAY MORNING.
IF ANY THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOP...CONDITIONS DO NOT APPEAR FAVORABLE
FOR SEVERE WEATHER. HOWEVER...HAIL UP TO THE SIZE OF NICKELS AND
WIND GUSTS TO NEAR 50 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE.

THE GREATEST CHANCE OF ORGANIZED THUNDERSTORMS NEXT WEEK WILL BE
MONDAY AFTERNOON AND NIGHT. WHILE A COUPLE SUPERCELLS WILL BE
POSSIBLE MONDAY AFTERNOON...WITH THE INITIAL DEVELOPMENT...THE
STRENGTH OF THE INCOMING COOL FRONT SHOULD RESULT IN A RAPID
TRANSITION TO A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS. THIS LINE COULD INCLUDE
BOWING SEGMENTS. HAIL AS LARGE AS GOLF BALLS AND DAMAGING STRAIGHT
LINE WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH WILL BE THE PRIMARY THREATS...WITH
THE THREAT OF WIND DAMAGE BECOMING THE PRIMARY CONCERN ONCE THE LINE
FORMS.

THERE ARE SEVERAL LOW-CONFIDENCE THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WEDNESDAY
NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY AND THURSDAY NIGHT.
