This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Scattered thunderstorms will become possible late this afternoon,
and may continue into the overnight. Best thunderstorm chances
overnight look to remain north of the Kansas, Nebraska state line.
Widespread severe weather is not expected, however, a few strong
to severe storms can`t be ruled out. The main threats will be
marginally severe hail and wind gusts late this afternoon and into
the evening hours.

Quick bursts of heavy rainfall and a quick 1 to 2 inches will also
be possible in the strongest activity. This could lead to
localized minor flooding issues.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Periodic thunderstorm chances continue in the forecast through
the end of the week, with the overall chances diminishing beyond
Thursday. There is a Marginal Risk that a few storms could become
strong to severe on Wednesday, capable of producing large hail
and/or damaging winds. Localized heavy rainfall and resultant
short-term flooding issues are also possible.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...Spotters are encouraged to
report any thunderstorm-related severe weather that might occur
over the next few days, including hail at least 1 inch in
diameter, wind gusts around 60 MPH or higher, and also any
possible flooding.
