This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Thunderstorms are expected to develop this afternoon and evening.
Thunderstorms are possible for the entire outlook area. There is
a chance for strong to severe thunderstorms this afternoon and
evening, mainly to the north of Highway 6 in south central
Nebraska. The primary hazards will be hail around the size of
quarters and wind gusts around 60 mph.

Low relative humidity and gusty south winds will create near
critical fire weather conditions this afternoon, along and to the
southwest of a line from Beaver City Nebraska to Beloit Kansas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

There are intermittent chances for thunderstorms through much of
the period. It is still too early to confidently evaluate severe
storm potential.
