This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Late This Afternoon and Tonight.

A few brief thunderstorms will occur through early this evening
...mainly over north central Kansas. No strong or severe storms
will occur. There could be a stray lightning strike and a rumble
or two of thunder over south central Nebraska...south of Highway 6
through early evening.

Some minor flood is in progress along Clear Creek in northern Polk
County. This flooding is expected to continue through tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Temperatures will fall into the lower and middle 30s late
Saturday night into Sunday morning over much of south central
Nebraska west of Highway 281. Conditions will be favorable for

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible Monday afternoon and
evening. No severe storms will occur...but some storms could
produce gusty winds to around 45 mph and pea size hail.

Some minor flood is in progress along Clear Creek in northern Polk
County. This situation will gradually improve through the weekend
with water levels decreasing.


Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
