THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA AND
PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

AFTER MIDNIGHT...THERE WILL BE A CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS
PORTIONS OF THE OUTLOOK AREA...MAINLY ALONG AND WEST OF A LINE
FROM KEARNEY NEBRASKA TO MANKATO KANSAS. SEVERE WEATHER IS
CURRENTLY NOT ANTICIPATED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

AT LEAST SMALL THUNDERSTORM CHANCES EXIST WITHIN ALL...OR AT LEAST
SOME PORTION OF THE OUTLOOK AREA...DURING EACH DAY AND NIGHT
FORECAST PERIOD...EXCEPT FOR THURSDAY DAYTIME. SOME OF THE OVERALL
HIGHEST THUNDERSTORM CHANCES...FOR AT LEAST PARTS OF THE
AREA...ARE CURRENTLY FOCUSED TUESDAY AFTERNOON INTO TUESDAY
EVENING...WEDNESDAY INTO WEDNESDAY NIGHT...AND THEN AGAIN AROUND
FRIDAY NIGHT.

FOCUSING IN MORE DETAIL ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON INTO TUESDAY
EVENING...THE ENTIRE OUTLOOK AREA STANDS AT LEAST A MARGINAL RISK OF
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS...WITH A SLIGHTLY HIGHER RISK FOCUSED NEAR AND
EAST OF THE HIGHWAY 281 CORRIDOR IN NEBRASKA. THE MAIN THREATS WITH
ANY SEVERE STORMS WILL BE HAIL UP TO AROUND PING PONG BALL
SIZE...WIND GUSTS TO AROUND 60 MPH...AND BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL THAT
COULD CAUSE MINOR FLOODING.

ON WEDNESDAY...ALTHOUGH THE OVERALL-THREAT FOR SEVERE WEATHER IS
LOWER...A MARGINAL RISK FOR A FEW SEVERE STORMS COULD AGAIN DEVELOP
MAINLY DURING THE AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING...ESPECIALLY SOUTHEAST
OF A LINE FROM GENEVA NEBRASKA TO PHILLIPSBURG KANSAS.

BEYOND WEDNESDAY...IT IS TOO SOON TO CONFIDENTLY ASSESS ANY
SEVERE STORM POTENTIAL THAT MIGHT EXIST.
