...La Crosse, Wisconsin, was warmer than normal and received well-
above normal precipitation for the month of June...

The average temperature for the month was 72.4 degrees, which was
3.2 degrees above normal. The average high temperature was 83.9
degrees and the average low was 60.9 degrees. The highest
temperature for the month was 97 degrees, which occurred on the 3rd
and the coldest temperature was 45 degrees, which occurred on the
1st.

A total of 5.38 inches of precipitation fell during the month.
This was 1.04 inches above normal. The greatest 24 hour
precipitation amount was 1.35 inches which occurred on the 22nd.

No snow fell during the month of June.

Several records were set during the month of June.
A daily maximum temperature record of 97 degrees was set on the 3rd
replacing the previous record of 93 degrees set in 2011.
A daily maximum temperature record of 96 degrees was set on the 10th
replacing the previous record of 95 degrees set in 2016.
A daily maximum temperature record of 94 degrees was tied on the
11th matching the record set in 1956.
A daily warmest low temperature record was set on the 11th. The low
was 76 on the 11th breaking the record of 72 which occurred in 1920.

...Discussion...

La Crosse was warmer than normal for the month of June. The warmest
period occurred from the 2nd through the 17th...where the average
daily temperature was above normal for the period. This was followed
by daily average temperature near or below normal for the remainder
of the month

During the month of June, precipitation was well-above normal. The
